I just love this production team and the cast so much that I can’t wait for them to get the acclaim they deserve from everyone around the world. And if by chance people have some gripes, I’ll be there to receive them together.”

Eiichiro Oda shared a message with all his fans, followers, and One Piece lovers and claimed that the show might feel a bit lacking in certain parts or some missing characters. Oda, however, is aware of the situation and vows to welcome both positive reviews and negative criticism.

There will always be those who won’t be fully happy with the production, no matter how much wonderful the series ends up being. Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece Live Action Boasts a Huge Budget

The One Piece live-action series is expected to cost a stunning $18 million each episode for a total of 8 episodes, according to many sources. Despite popular forecasts of bad reviews and comments, the show’s trailer surprise received favorable feedback. As Netflix is putting the finishing touches on its most expensive film to date, the fans are impatiently awaiting its debut.

This live-action program won’t suffer from a lack of funding in contrast to other programs because major projects like The Mandalorian and Game of Thrones had a $15 million budget. Although the show’s quality may not be affected by its budget, its plot is on par with the best.

The project has been confirmed for at least one season, and although each episode will cost $18 million, the show’s whole budget is expected to be in the neighborhood of $150 million. According to a project official, the budget for the series will be on par with that of an MCU film.

Numerous anime adaptations have been produced in the past, but none of them have been able to get favorable reviews from fans and critics. This time, however, things could be different. There is a stir among the fans on various social media platforms with only a month till its release.

One Piece live-action will be available for streaming on Netflix from 31 August 2023.
