However, while Tom Cruise is one of the best actors out there, he is also one of the most humble ones. His love for his fans has been quite evident throughout the many years he has been in the entertainment industry. He always makes sure to stop what he’s doing to interact with his fans and take pictures with them. However, sometimes even Tom Cruise just wants to have his privacy which is exactly what he got when a teenager decided to keep his identity a secret.

It does not take long for people to realize that a popular personality is among them. This leads to them getting surrounded by a mob of fans who want to interact with their favorite stars. When Tom Cruise is in question, he loves getting to interact with his fans. During his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel recalled when Cruise stopped to greet a group of about 500 people and took pictures with every single one of them.

However, sometimes Cruise might not be in the mood to get bombarded by his fans as he just might to keep it to himself that day. Kimmel asked the Mission: Impossible actor if that was ever the case and if he could even get on public transportation without being recognized. Cruise stated that he does in fact use public transportation sometimes and jokingly added that his security “loves” when he does that.” He recalled an incident when he was traveling in the tube and a young girl recognized him. Cruise gestured to keep her discovery to herself, which she respected and it looks like the girl’s deed has stuck with Cruise.

“I am ready for whatever’s gonna happen. I don’t change my life, but I like talking to people, you know, and as I said I make my movies for them. Yeah I do go on transportation, my security loves when I do that – the tube in England. I do that. Like sometimes, I put on my hat, my earphones and I’ll just go in and get on the tube…I remember one time I was there and there was like a 14-year old kid, this girl was there. Everyone was looking at their phones and she just, I saw her I looked over and my head’s down, I got my baseball cap and she’s just staring at me like this. I looked at her and she looked at me and she just looked around the subway, and then looked back to me and I went ‘Shhh..’ and the look she gave me, she just looked around  and she was like took her iPhone and went click! I’ll never forget her.”

Thanks to the fourteen-year-old girl, Cruise managed to keep his identity hidden for that day. The fact that an actor of his caliber will never forget the girl is a flex like no other!
