In a recent post on her social media, Britney Spears made a startling confession. Promising that she will never return to the music industry no matter the cost, Spears announced her shift in career, and her next job is quite an anonymous one!

Penning and singing some iconic songs such as Criminal, Gimme More, and Oops!… I Did It Again, Spears is a nostalgic icon who had to deal with a plethora of controversies. To top it off, the singer also displayed some erratic behavior in public back in 2006 until 2008, which further diminished her public image.
Gaining media attention in the later years, Britney Spears found fame again, but a career comeback like the earlier times wasn’t possible. Taking to her Instagram, the singer revealed in a startling confession that she is done with the world of music. While posting a picture of Guido Reni’s painting, Spears revealed that everything was going well in her life in the caption.
“Just so we’re clear most of the news is trash !!! They keep saying I’m turning to random people to do a new album … I will never return to the music industry !!! When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people !!!”
She further continued,
“I’ve written over 20 songs for other people the past two years !!! I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way !!! People are also saying MY BOOK WAS RELEASED WITHOUT MY APPROVAL ILLEGALLY and that’s far from the truth … have you read the news these days ??? I’m so LOVED and blessed !!!”
Well, it seems that Spears has decided to be a ghostwriter after all. Creating controversy with her words is not a big deal for the singer. Having troubles with her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, Spears dissed him in one of the most iconic and yet childish ways several years back!

Shortly after their breakup, Justin Timberlake created the song Cry Me A River. Being not so subtle with the name, Timberlake recently performed the song in Las Vegas. Before singing the song, Timberlake said “No disrespect”.
This was enough to trigger Spears once again she took to her Instagram to reply to this “No disrespect”. Taking petty revenge, the singer shared a video with the caption stating “I never mentioned how I beat him in basketball and he would cry … no disrespect !!!”. With ongoing feuds and surrounding controversies, the world will surely miss Spears’ performances.
