Tom Hiddleston has been a household name for years for his role as the God of Mischief in the MCU. The actor has also delivered commendable performances in non-Marvel projects like Unrelated, Archipelago, and Midnight in Paris. However, acting isn’t the only cause of Hiddleston’s name and fame. His dancing skills have also played a massive role in his public image.
Tom Hiddleston’s iconic dance in the Alan Carr: Chatty Man has been subjected to uncountable GIFs and memes on the internet. A YouTuber uploaded a compilation of his dancing skills from several shows and it looks like his skills can even beat our MCU dancing fame, Star-Lord.
Tom Hiddleston never fails to flaunt his moves
All the Marvel actors have also proved to be brilliant dancers on several occasions. Their promotional tours often contain some of the most iconic and hilarious moments. From the dance with Taylor Swift at the Met Gala to the Korean promotional tour in 2013, Tom Hiddleston has never failed to boast his extraordinary moves.
The Night Manager fame’s dancing videos have often gone viral on the internet. Recently when a video compilation of Hiddleston’s dance in Chatty Man and MTV’s SlumberParty was spotted on the internet, the fans couldn’t get over it in the comments section. Check out the video here:
The whole comments section is filled with praises and cheers for the Avengers actor’s impressive moves. A user commented- “I’ll never see Loki the same way ever ever again”. Another one commented- “That just pushed him from “cool! Loki!” to supppppppppppper-sexy!”
The list just goes on with the whole fandom going mad over Hiddleston’s moves and speaking of the phenomenal sequence they witnessed. However, it also reminded many of the iconic “Dance Off” sequence by Chris Pratt in Guardians of the Galaxy. The project that introduced the intergalactic team featured a dancing scene of Peter Quill that has generated varied opinions over the years.
Can Star-Lord beat Tom Hiddleston’s dancing moves?
The ending of James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy featured a widely-discussed scene featuring a dancing Chris Pratt before the movie’s main antagonist Ronan. After the painful death of Groot, when the team crashed on the Xandar planet, just when Ronan was about to destroy the planet, Star-Lord was seen in a bizarre sequence.
As the song “O-o-h Child” played in the background, everyone along with the antagonist himself was surprised at Star-Lord’s actions and failed to understand his plan for distracting the villain. It is noteworthy that some audiences didn’t love the sequence. They felt that it reduced the much-needed tension from the scene.
From the dance moves of Tom Hiddleston, it can be said that he has a very good chance to beat Star-Lord in a hypothetical dance battle. But unlike Loki, Star-Lord will surely take a considerable amount of time to return to the MCU as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 provided a beautiful conclusion to the saga.
