After getting married and filing the papers, the two, however, divorced just six months later! During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen (via Vanity Fair), Lukas Gage revealed that marrying Appleton was one of the most unhinged things that he had ever done in his life!
“[It was] a manic episode for six months. I don’t know literally what went through my head, but we live and we learn”
He further continued,
“That’s kind of how I roll. I’m a little impulsive. But that was probably one of the most unhinged things I’ve ever done in my life, and I’ll probably have six other marriages.”
In other news, Lukas Gage talked about starring in Smile 2 and how there is one scene so gory and violent in the film that he had to puke afterward while shooting!

Notable director Parker Finn is currently working on a sequel to the iconic 2022 film Smile. Casting Lukas Gage in the film in one of the primary roles, the actor revealed on the SiriusXM podcast that there was one scene so gory in the film that it made him puke afterward!
“And it’s so good. I’m so scared to give any spoilers away. I just, it’s if you love the first movie, you’re going to love this one. It’s so terrifying it was the first time I’ve ever been on a set where I was genuinely afraid and I actually got sick to my stomach in one take. I didn’t think I would, I just, it was so gory and so disgusting.”
With Naomi Scott also attached to the film, there are high expectations for the sequel and hopefully, Smile 2 will deliver on the promise. The first part, which received a rating of 6.5/10 on IMDB and a whopping 79% on Rotten Tomatoes is available to stream on Prime Video in the U.S.
