Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 is heavily anticipated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. The much anticipated R-rated film has generated enormous excitement as this will be the first time that the Merc with a Mouth will be a part of the MCU. Moreover, the third sequel of the film will feature Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, which has made the fans jump with excitement and some fans even believe Jackman’s return to his iconic superhero role would be a major reason why the film would be a massive hit at the Box Office.

While fans have been readying themselves to watch Deadpool 3, a rumor started circulating which stated that Zazie Beetz who played the role of Domino in the second installment of the franchise may not be a part of the third film. The Bullet Train actress was eager to return in the third sequel but she has put the rumor to rest, as she confirmed that she will not be returning in the much-anticipated sequel.

Zazie Beetz Shares An Upsetting News For Deadpool 3

Ryan Reynolds’ third sequel to Deadpool sent a buzz among the fans, and it was announced that several characters from past films will make an appearance in the upcoming film, including characters like Dopinder the Taxi Driver and Blind Al. However, the appearance of some major characters was in question for Deadpool 3. During Zazie Beetz’s exclusive interview with Decider, the actress broke the hearts of the fans, saying she will not be returning to reprise her role of Domino.

“Well, I’m actually not in Deadpool 3, so I don’t know what they’re doing [about improvisation]. I’m assuming they’re probably taking a pause. […] I’m excited to watch it.”

The news came after there were rumors stating that the actress will be a part of the sequel and when she was asked if she would be present in Deadpool 3, the actress answered, “Unfortunately, I plead the fifth. I’m sorry.” While the absence of Domino will be seen in the film but her absence would not be felt in the film as Ryan Reynolds has promised the fans that the film will be full of action and sass.

Which Old Characters Will Be In Deadpool 3?

While the absence of Domino has taken out some excitement for the fans, they can stop being sad because the fan favorite X-Men, that is, Hugh Jackman’s Logan, codenamed The Wolverine, will be back in the film. The actor is taking his return very seriously as he has been regularly working out to get back to his best physical condition to reprise his role after his farewell movie, Logan, in 2017.

Other known faces returning in the sequel are Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapičić, as they will be reprising their roles of Negasonic Teenage Warhead and the voice of Colossus in the film. Another old face returning is Shioli Kutsuna in the role of Yukio, she played Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend in the second movie.

Moreover, Marvel loves to surprise their fans, so fans might expect other classic characters to make a return in the movie. However, the question will remain if fans will feel the absence of Zazie Beetz’s Domino in Deadpool 3, as the character played a crucial role in the second sequel of the franchise.
