Despite this, James Gunn has kept his head down and made films people talk about. There’s no sign of Gunn slowing down any time soon or paying heed to any hate that comes his way.

SnyderCon is an annual convention that celebrates the work of filmmaker Zack Snyder, particularly his contributions to the DCEU. The event features screenings of Snyder’s films, Q&A panels with special guests, and fan-driven activities such as giveaways and prizes.
The convention was first held in 2019 and is set to return in April 2023, focusing on Snyder’s DC trilogy consisting of Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
In addition to celebrating Snyder’s films, the event is a charity fundraiser, with proceeds going to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Autumn Snyder Tribute Fund in honor of Snyder’s late daughter.
