Many aspiring and new artists try to work with Marvel Studios at the very start of their careers as the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown to become one of the largest franchises in the industry. And in turn, even Marvel offers them multi-movie contracts so that new actors and actresses can stick around for a long time.

Elizabeth Olsen who portrays the role of Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch in the franchise has warned the new actors against taking multi-project deals recently. Elizabeth Olsen warned new actors and actresses against signing multi-movie deals with Marvel

In a recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Elizabeth Olsen opened up about her own experience at Marvel Studios. The actress told the host Josh Horowitz that the new actors should only sign for one movie or series at a time as it gives them more ‘creative control‘ over themselves. She said,

“Let’s say you’re like,‘This was the most fun I’ve ever had, and I love this character so much I want to do it again,’ you now have more creative control for the next one.”

Elizabeth Olsen also talked about how she was also ‘losing a part of herself‘ by not being able to work on the projects she wanted to. She said,

“It took me away from the physical ability to do certain jobs that I thought were more aligned with the things I enjoyed as an audience member. And this is me being the most honest. I started to feel frustrated. I had this job security but I was losing these pieces that I felt were more part of my being. And the further I got away from that, the less I became considered for it.”

However, it seems like the new actors and actresses do not want to waste any time and just sign long-time deals with Marvel as their cinematic universe is ever-expanding.

Emilia Clarke is also looking forward to signing a long-time deal with Marvel

Emilia Clarke is all set to make her debut in Marvel’s Secret Invasion series later this month. Although the details about the character that she will be playing have been kept under wraps, sources have mentioned that the role could lead to Clarke signing a long-time deal with Marvel. The actress is very excited about her new role and said,

“Everyone I know and everyone I’ve spoken to who is a part of the Marvel universe — and actors talk! Everyone has only the highest praise to offer. There’s a reason why actors stay in it. They’re so loved because they’re having loads of fun. So I’m down for that.”
