Recently, model Emma Heming posted a lengthy video on her Instagram talking about the struggles of taking care of her husband, actor Bruce Willis. She explained that it may seem like she’s living her best life, however, the scenario is completely different,

“I think it’s so important for us to break up our thinking which can feel, for me very much, like gloom and doom. I know it looks like I’m out living my best life, [but] I have to make a conscious effort every single day to live the best life that I can,” adding that, “it does not come easy.”

In February, his family revealed that he suffers from a condition known as frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which has severely impacted his cognitive abilities.

Further in the video, Heming explained that she has to stay strong as she’s trying her best to save the family, adding that she may seem “good” but that is not the case,

“I do that for myself, I do that for our two children, and [I do that for] Bruce, who would not want me to live any other way. So I don’t want it to be misconstrued that I’m good, ’cause I’m not. I’m not good. I am just doing the best that I can always. Your pictures are making me happy. I am just doing the best that I can always. Your pictures are making me happy. I just want you to take a moment out of your day to break it up for a minute to just look for something beautiful.”

The model concluded by saying that she has to take care of herself in order to look after Bruce Willis and their family. During these tough times, Willis received a lot of support from his family as well as ex-wife Demi Moore.
