Would Rocket Die in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3?

James Gunn has been teasing that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 would be a balanced mix of humor and some heavy drama. And the trailer seems to prove it right. While a lot is going on in the trailer, fans have been gushing over baby Rocket, who is shown in a flashback shot.

However, fans are not sure about the fate of the Guardians in the upcoming movie. The threequel is expected to explore Rocket’s origin story, and some flashback shots even portray it as if he is being taken for the experiment.

Some of the scenes have caused fans to panic that one of their favorite Marvel characters is about to die. Many fans assumed that Peter Quill’s pain and anguish in one of the scenes in the trailer could be over Rocket’s death. Another scene that shows Rocket lying down also has caused panic among fans.

They are claiming that director James Gunn has purposely put these scenes in the trailer, either to emotionally break them or prepare them for the events of the third and final film under the intergalactic franchise.

Some fans even claimed that Marvel will not give such a huge spoiler in the trailer and the scene could be one of Rocket’s flashbacks. While many fans are sure that Rocket would die in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, others believe that this is just how the trailer is intentionally presented.

Many fans also believe that the character who would die in the threequel would be Peter Quill, instead of Rocket. And if not Star-Lord, they are sure that someone would eventually die in the threequel, but it would not be Rocket.
