It started when Aaron Rodgers spoke against Jimmy Kimmel during a conversation with Pat McAfee last week. The quarterback accused Kimmel that he was afraid of having his name disclosed from the sealed Epstein documents. However, it was eventually unsealed, and Rodgers was proven wrong, which led to a massive feud between the two individuals.

Did Aaron Rodgers try to justify his comments on Jimmy Kimmel?

The feud started when, last week, Aaron Rodgers openly stated on The Pat McAfee Show that many people, including Jimmy Kimmel, would not like the unsealed documents related to Jeffrey Epstein to come out. The sealed documents did come out before the court, and 150 high-profile names connected to the late Jeffrey Epstein were revealed. However, the talk show host was not involved.

Jimmy Kimmel did not take it all silently and openly bashed the 40-year-old quarterback after appearing in the Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday. The talk show host looked disgusted at the entire scenario and called out Aaron Rodgers‘ intelligence (via NBC News).

“I don’t know Jeffrey Epstein, I’ve never met Jeffrey Epstein, I’m not on a list, I wasn’t on a plane or an island or anything ever. A lot of delusional people honestly believe I am meeting up with Tom Hanks and Oprah at Shakey’s once a week to eat pizza and drink the blood of children.”

Jimmy Kimmel was open to moving on if Rodgers apologized- “When I do get something wrong, which happens on rare occasions. You know what I do? I apologize for it”. However, as he predicted, Rodgers only dragged the matter instead of apologizing. Rodgers stated that he wanted the truth to come out and did not have anything against Kimmel.

“I totally understand how serious an allegation of p*dophilia would be, so for him to be upset about that, I get it. I’m not stupid enough — even though you think I’m an idiot, and you made a lot of comments about my intelligence — but I’m not stupid enough to accuse you of that with absolutely zero concrete evidence. That’s ridiculous.”

It is not the first time the talk show host has raised the issue. Soon after Aaron Rodgers’ statement, Jimmy Kimmel took on his X account to call him out. He was clear that he was not associated with Jeffrey Epstein in any way, and Rodgers’ “reckless” statement has put his family in danger. Kimmell intended to be involved in a legal battle against the latter if he could bring the facts to the court.

It must be noted that the ongoing feud between the celebrities dates back to the pandemic era when the talk show host passed some comments against Aaron Rodgers. It was after Rodgers was accused of misleading the media about his COVID-19 Vaccination. The NFL star stated on Pat McAfee’s show (via The Hollywood Reporter):

“The history of this — whatever this is between Jimmy and I — this goes back to COVID times. In COVID times, he mentioned on his show jokes about my immunization, which I know you also made a little joke about it. I’m not going to get into that whole thing. I’ve talked many times about that.”

Jimmy Kimmel’s several statements displeased Rodgers, who was also upset after the talk show host poked fun at his remarks about UFO sightings. It did not appear that the quarterback wanted to solve the issue. It will be looked forward to if the debate increases any further.

Kimmel also made sure to address his audience that he also makes several jokes about different people on his show, but they are facts and not made-up lies. He stated that it is not the same as what Aaron Rodgers did.
