A rather complicated accusation, still unconfirmed and only a supposition, involves one of the most popular streamers. In recent days, Dr Disrespect has been embroiled in a controversy regarding the alleged reasons why he was permanently banned from Twitch.
According to these alleged accusations, the streamer, who was banned from Twitch back in 2020, was allegedly exchanging messages with a minor and even planning a meeting with her. Many people, including the studio developing the streamer’s game, Deadrop, have expressed their surprise at this development.
The Members of Dr Disrespect’s Video Game Studio Are Unsure of How to Respond to Another Controversy
Having once been the face of Twitch, the popular streamer known as Dr Disrespect knew how to take advantage of his best moments when games like PUBG were popular.
This content creator successfully established a brand around his identity and continues to enjoy enormous success on platforms such as YouTube. However, fans remained unaware of the true reason for his Twitch ban. Now, there’s the chance the truth is coming out.
Several former Twitch employees have made alleged accusations, stating that this streamer was banned from the platform because he had been talking to and arranging to meet a minor at Twitch-Con.

Deadrop May Be at Risk
Dr Disrespect has been the face of many games over the years, with his streaming career being very successful and well documented. However, his success doesn’t stop there, with his dedication to gaming going one step further.
Creating the development studio Midnight Society, Dr Disrespect attempted to create the game that he so badly wanted Call of Duty to be, after many a criticism of Activision Blizzard’s shooter, and Deadrop is what players have ended up with.

A free-to-play NFT shooter, Deadrop is set in a ‘future world marked by climate wars, where city-states have risen as the dominant form of government’, and could not be more different than the shooter Dr Disrespect prominently streams.
In news that may worry Dr Disrespect, Midnight Society’s Studio Lead says he’s now aware of the allegations and ‘dealing with it’. What this means is anyone’s guess, but it could certainly be interpreted as bad news for the popular streamer, with the studio and game no doubt wanting nothing to do with such controversy.
