Recently, in an Instagram story, the Game of Thrones actor expressed his excitement regarding his future in the company. He was spotted extremely pumped up about some “good news” and stated his love for James Gunn, Peter Safran, and the WBD CEO David Zaslav.

“I got some really good news. Great news with Warner Bros. Amazing. Wish I could tell you, but here it is. Peter [Safran], I love you. James [Gunn], I love you. David [Zaslvav]… To the future, to the future.”

When a DC enthusiast tweeted the video and asked The Suicide Squad director if it’s Lobo or Aquaman, James Gunn replied without revealing much about anything.

By looking at the fate of the other characters from the previous DC regime, it is highly unlikely that Jason Momoa might not reprise his role as Arthur Curry. James Gunn also stated that DC will go through a reboot with reports of the upcoming The Flash storyline triggering it. Moreover, with the current advancements in the DCU, the fate of the Aquaman franchise will be debatable until official reports arrive.

The updates are scheduled to release this month only and it can be hoped that they will be released within the upcoming few weeks.
