Did Hugh Jackman Take Steroids For His Physique?

During a recent appearance on HBO’s talk show Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, Hugh Jackman addressed allegations suggesting that he had resorted to steroids to undergo his character’s transformation. “No, I love my job. And I love Wolverine. I got to be careful what I say here, but I had been told anecdotally what the side effects are of that. And I was like, ‘I don’t love it that much.’ So no, I just did it the old school way. And I tell you, I’ve eaten more chickens — I’m so sorry to all the vegans and vegetarians and to the chickens of the world. Literally the karma is not good for me. If the deity has anything related to chickens, I’m in trouble,” Hugh Jackman said.

In the previous year, the actor graced the screen in the familial narrative The Son, sharing the spotlight with Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, Zen McGrath, Hugh Quarshie, and Anthony Hopkins. Hugh has openly mentioned that he had repeatedly declined offers to reprise the role of Wolverine over time, claiming a lack of interest. However, his disposition changed when an intuitive sense led him to reconsider.
