And something similar happened to him while promoting the third installment in the neo-noir franchise when an interviewer complimented him for being the nicest guy.
Keanu Reeves Gets Uncomfortable When Complimented
Keanu Reeves is one of the Hollywood stars who is known for being polite not only toward his fans but to everyone around him. While his co-stars and colleagues have plenty to say about his thoughtful and grounded nature, the actor is not too comfortable talking about these things himself.
And it was quite visible during an interview with Geek Bomb, where he seemingly stumbled on his words when complimented for being the nicest guy in the world. “Oh, that’s ridiculous. Anyway, it’s nice to hear, but it’s not true,” he responded to the stories shared by the interviewer.
While he agreed with some of these stories, he also denied some of the claims, saying, “I don’t recall.” As the conversation came to an end, the interviewer was also able to notice that the Constantine star was not feeling very comfortable and told him, “I am so sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.”
While Reeves doesn’t share much about these stories, they eventually come out in one way or another, including the wrap gifts for the crew that ranges from special and unique t-shirts to Harley-Davidson motorcycles and customized Rolex watches.

After John Wick: Chapter 4 wrapped up, the actor decided to gift a unique t-shirt to every stunt performer in the movie. What made these t-shirts stand out was each member’s t-shirt stated the number of times their characters were killed throughout the movie.
He also had a special gift for his personal stunt team. He gifted the four stunt men customized Rolex watches and expressed his gratitude toward them with a personalized message. One of the team members shared the snaps of the gift on Instagram and called it the “Best wrap gift ever.”
Prior to this, he gifted Harley-Davidson motorcycles to his stunt team for The Matrix Reloaded and reportedly gave The Matrix Resurrections stunt team a paid trip for the film’s premiere, including tickets, hotel rooms, and a private jet to fly them in.
