“I’m the victim”: Real-Life Stalker Cries Wolf After Claiming Baby Reindeer Creator is Obsessed With Her in Twist of the Year

Much like the real-life-inspired Netflix series Baby Reindeer, the story of Richard Gadd is also getting twisted and turned around. Being a comedian who found fame when he told the story of how he was stalked for two years, Gadd was loved by the world.

Turning his story into a Netflix miniseries, Baby Reindeer was born. With reports by Richard Gadd that the series is based on his real-life incidents involving a stalker, the world is quite hooked on to it. Well, the real-life alleged stalker stepped up and stated that it was actually Gadd who was stalking her for the past two years!

The Alleged Real-Life Stalker Says Baby Reindeer Is Not True!

In the Netflix miniseries, Gadd portrays the role of Donny. During the run of the series, Gadd is stalked by a woman named Martha throughout the course of two years. Based on the real-life incident of comedian Richard Gadd, the series is quite traumatic to watch.

With the world invested in Baby Reindeer, there have been numerous attempts to identify who this woman is who stalked Gadd. In a report by the Daily Mail, the alleged real-life stalker sat down to talk about the show and the hatred that she has been getting.

And it would have been a simple matter if she had said that the story was false. However, the woman in question, stated that it was actually Richard Gadd who was stalking her in real life! Stating that Gadd is stalking her now, the woman’s statements are full of twists and turns!

“He’s using Baby Reindeer to stalk me now. I’m the victim. He’s written a bloody show about me.”

She further stated that Gadd’s script was nothing but “bullying an older woman on television for fame and fortune”. She stated that despite Gadd’s attempts at hiding the woman’s true identity, she has been receiving “death threats and abuse from Richard Gadd supporters.” 

On the other hand, Richard Gadd publicly said that he does not want people to find out who the real-life people are that he showed in Baby Reindeer.

Richard Gadd Does Not Want The Stalker To Be Revealed!

With the launch of the series, people were immediately hooked on finding the real identity of the stalker. Since Gadd had revealed that he could not name the stalker due to artistic and legal reasons, people took matters into their own hands.

As per Richard Gadd’s Instagram story (via THR), here’s what the comedian wrote about people trying to find the identity of the stalker.

“People I love, have worked with, and admire are unfairly getting caught up in speculation. Please don’t speculate on who any of the real life people could be. That’s not the point of our show.”

On the other hand, Richard Gadd’s Baby Reindeer has been getting quite a lot of love from around the world. Sitting at a rating of 8.1/10 and a record high of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, Baby Reindeer is available to stream on Netflix across the world.
