While the actress claims it was a big deal for her to work in Quentin Tarantino’s film, she revealed her insecurities regarding whether she is a perfect fit for the role leading her to ask a curveball question from the movie director.

Margot Robbie asked the director if she had to wear fake b*obs to match her character’s physical appearance, claiming “she is flat-chested.” Recalling the first thing she asked Tarantino, the actress said,

“I’m very flat-chested, and Sharon Tate was not. So I asked [Tarantino] Any fake-boob situation? and he said, no, it does not change the character.”

The Quentin Tarantino directorial Once Upon a Time in Hollywood features Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton, Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate. The film received an overwhelming response from the audience by grossing $374 million at the global box office.

In a sit-down interview with Net-a-Porter, Margot Robbie revealed it was her career goal and dream to work in directing genius Quentin Tarantino’s films, so when she was offered a part in his 2019 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood movie it was a big deal for her. Robbie told the outlet,

“I’m barely on set with them. That’s a life goal. When I first sat down with my team in America, and they asked me what I wanted out of my career, I said, Pie in the sky? Tarantino.”

“Everyone asks me, How is it? How is he on set?’ I’ve been on sets for pretty much the last 10 years, and I still walk on and think, ‘This is soooooooo coooool! Look at that! That’s amazing! Oh my gosh!’ I’m like a kid in a candy shop, and then Tarantino walks on. and he’s got the same if not more, enthusiasm, and he’s so excited. It’s his film set, and he’s not jaded; at all – he’s just so happy to be there.”
