While we’ve been given a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming DLC, Elden Ring‘s official X/Twitter account has unveiled a character that might be Miquella. The revelation has caused an uproar and speculation among players who are now plotting to steal the NPC’s “sick” armor set.
Elden Ring Reveals New NPC and Armor Set Coming in Upcoming Expansion
We’re just a few weeks away from Shadow of the Erdtree DLC’s release, and fans of the franchise are hyped to see what the developers have in store for the game. The recent trailer for the DLC has given us hints of what to expect, but Elden Ring‘s official X/Twitter account today unveiled a brand-new NPC that might possibly be Miquella.Ā
The NPC shown in the image might be our second look at the figure, which was initially seen when the DLC was first announced. The braided blonde hair is quite similar to the first figure, who can be seen riding the horse. However, this time, they look entirely suited, with some cool armor.
Many in the community are also speculating whether this character is Miquella. Previously, the game director Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed to IGN that the character seen in the DLC’s announcement image was, in fact, Miquella.
The armor set’s sheer beauty has captured the attention of all gamers in the community. Players will do anything to obtain the set once the DLC is finally released.
Some players believe it’s the best armor set we’ve seen so far inĀ Elden RingĀ and cited the references toĀ Dark Souls, a title considered one of FromSoftware’sĀ most difficultĀ games.
Others are still wondering if the shown character is, in fact, Miquella or not.
No matter what FromSoftare has planned, and whether or not this is a brand-new character or actually Miquella, there’s no doubt that everyone absolutely loves the armor set on the character! Let’s hope the developers don’t restrict this armor set and sword to the NPC shown in the teaser.
Elden Ring Legacy Isn’t Just Over Yet
In an interview with IGN, Miyazaki revealed that the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is mostly likely the only expansion for Elden Ring. However, the studio is still considering plans for the IP. While the mention of Elden Ring getting only one DLC might be dissapotining, the prospect of a sequel to the game seems much better.
It’s fair to expect that Shadow of the Erdtree DLC won’tĀ pullĀ any punches since it’s the game’s only planned DLC.Ā ThisĀ seems to beĀ trueĀ based on the number of new enemies and weaponsĀ we willĀ see in the expansion, which will likely have a lasting impression on the game.
However, there are doubts over whether the DLC’s storytelling would deliver, as players still have many unanswered questions about the events and characters of the base game, alongside the new stories the DLC is expected to introduce.
