Internal research shows that 65% of Spider-Man fans are interested in MP game, regardless of having played SM1 & MM.

Both, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Miles Morales were met with “generally favorable reviews” from the critics. However, there is still some uncertainty, but fans’ love for the game may coerce them into doing so. Interestingly, users have started an online campaign to bring it back from the dead.

The Great Web Undoubtedly Had a Great Potential

The game had a huge potential that could have raked in millions of dollars in revenue. By the looks of it, it could have been the best game for the company so far. Nearly 100 million users were estimated to be active on PlayStation, and the addressable market for the game was anticipated to be 52 million. That certainly seems to be a great loss.

And it wasn’t just the team-up of multiple Spider-people, players might have faced off against other users to showcase their skills. Both PvE and PvP modes were reported to be included in the game. Moreover, the Sinister Six, the infamous band of supervillains from the Spider-Men universe, was planned to appear in the game.
