At the moment, there isn’t a whole lot of information regarding the upcoming Venom game, but with the amount of information that has been provided, one can make some assumptions as to how the game will play and how it will impact the rest of Marvel’s Spider-Man story.
What Has Been Leaked Regarding the Upcoming Venom Game From Insomniac Games?

However, we now know how long the game will take to play, what some of the activities are, who will be playable, how much it costs, and when it could potentially release.

Within this 8–10 hour experience, there will be roughly 12 missions and 3 event bosses that the players can take part in, which has been described as the golden path. This means that for those who are looking to only play the game for the story, there sadly won’t be a large amount of content to enjoy.
One feature that has many gamers excited is the fact that it has been leaked that gamers will be able to swap between different playable characters throughout the game. According to the leak, players will be able to switch between Venom and Spider-Heroes, and this has many gamers wondering if this means there will be even more characters to choose from.
After the ending of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and the small teaser that has many fans of the franchise excited, many gamers are wondering whether the fact the playable characters have been described as Spider-Heroes rather than Spider-Men is because they could be receiving even more character introductions like Silk, Black Cat, or even Mary Jane.
What Has Been Leaked Regarding the Release Date and Price of the Upcoming Venom Game?
Within the leaked information, there has been some small information that has been revealed, which tells us when Insomniac Games plans to release the upcoming Venom game, its rating, and its price tag.
At the moment, the upcoming Venom game will be set at a rather reasonable price of $49.99, but depending on the player’s opinion, it may not be worth the cost as it will be rather similar to the size of a DLC rather than a full game. Even though the price hasn’t been revealed, there will be an ultimate edition that will also include Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
So far, there has been no official set release date, as the game is still currently in development, but according to the leak, Insomniac Games is aiming for a release date of Q2 2025. This timeframe is highly likely, as the development team will currently be working on DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and will focus on the Venom game once that is complete.
According to the leaked information, the upcoming Venom game will be rated for teen players, so it will most likely avoid anything too gory or include any swearing, but since it is a Venom game, there will definitely be some form of gore and chaos involved.
