The news is finally out, and Iron Man will soon ditch the Iron Man suit for the groom’s tux to exchange wedding vows with his one true love, Emma Frost. Marvel made the official announcement recently, and being true fans, we are barely able to contain our excitement.
The marriage between Iron Man and Emma Frost had been a long-time wish of the fans, and the announcement has come as a delight for the fans. However, the root cause behind their marriage may be something more than love.

Iron Man and Emma Frost to get married?
According to the press release from Marvel, the wedding of Tony Stark and Emma Frost will be seen in the cross-over story, starting in X-Men #26. It is written by Gerry Duggan and Stefano Caselli. The story will continue in Invincible Iron Man #10 created by Duggan and Juan Frigeri. X-Men #23 will show the story of Frost’s mutant family reaction to the shocking news of marriage.
As per the storyline, the two action heroes were working together against the mutant-hating inventor Feilong, but there were no hints of romance. The fans knew that they were together when Frost was a villain. However, the wedding news is still hard to believe.
Emma Frost and Iron Man’s marriage have been in the cards for many years. It was teased back as 2019’s History of the Marvel Universe when a future Galactus had stated their marriage as a historical event. However, there is a possibility that the marriage is not for love but for their tactical advantage. The creator Duggan shared with IGN,
“Neither seems like the marrying type. Why this works, how this works, and how much fun this is whether their marriage works or not will need to be seen to be believed and you’ll have to buy it to find out! They certainly don’t seem like they’re ready to be married to anyone, let alone to each other, but life can change quickly.”
The news of the wedding has completely shocked the fans and they are unable to understand if the marriage is for marriage or other reasons.
Why are Iron Man and the X-Men fame Emma Frost getting married?
Those who have been diligently following the story of Iron Man and Emma Frost know marriage was in the cards. It was also confirmed by Galactus’ predictions about marriage, as his other predictions also came true. However, there are huge possibilities that the marriage may be a ruse and may be a part of a massive fight against White Queen and Iron Man’s shared enemies- the hate group Orchis, of which Feilong is one of the leaders. However, the wedding celebration will be too huge a price to pay for defeating their enemy.
X-Men #26 is available from September 6, and one can get Invincible Iron Man #10 on September 27 from Marvel Comics.
