It has been long rumored that Dolly Parton has full-sleeved tattoos on both her arms, something that Scarlett Johansson is fascinated by. Speaking with People Magazine, the Avengers: Endgame alum revealed that she had put some thought into it, wondering if it’s true.

Speaking with People when asked about a conspiracy theory that she finds particularly interesting, Scarlett Johansson mentioned that she preferred a theory that came out of Hollywood itself. She said:

I don’t know. I’m so not a conspiracy theorist. I’m like, I really believe in science. I don’t know. I think probably that Dolly Parton has full tattooed sleeves. Is it real? We’ll find out.

Johansson was quick to talk about the subject, emphasizing that it is not something that she thinks about a lot, calling herself “not a conspiracy theorist”. Fly Me to the Moon, her latest offering, also starring Channing Tatum and Woody Harrelson.

Amazon Prime Video is on its way to adapting Just Cause, John Katzenbach’s thriller novel which was adapted in 1995, where Johansson essayed the role of the protagonist’s young daughter at the age of 10, which was one of her earliest roles in film.

Johansson will be playing the character of Madison ‘Madi’ Cowart, a reimagining of the novel’s main protagonist Matt Cowart. This will be the actress’ first major venture into television, as the novel is now being adapted as a limited series. Johansson will be serving as an executive producer on the story, along with American Fiction filmmaker Cord Jefferson and, writer John Wells.

Fly Me to the Moon is set to release on July 12, 2024.
