In a new teaser for the game, Avatar Realms Collide, Aang, Kyoshi, Roku, and Korra can be seen fighting side by side, all in their Avatar forms. Obviously, this has never happened before in the animated series for a very valid reason, but the teaser raises an important question – Will this ever be canon?

Many video games have stemmed from the animated series including Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Video Game trilogy, a multiplayer role-playing game titled Avatar: Legends of the Arena, and more. And now fans will soon get to play yet another video game where they get to control the destiny of their favorite characters.

Avatar: Realms Collide or Avatar Legends: Realms Collide is a mobile game taking place in the world of Avatar Legends. In the new teaser for the game, fans get to see what it would be like if Avatar Aang, Avatar Kyoshi, Avatar Roku, and Avatar Korra united their forces against their enemy.

Of course, there is a slight issue with the teaser since two or more Avatars cannot exist in the same lifetime. The only way they can come in contact with each other is through the Avatar state. However, let’s not forget that this is just a teaser promoting the mobile game.

Regardless, fans seem quite excited to play the game in the near future while some wonder whether the Avatars coming together will ever be canon or not.

While it sure would be cool to see different Avatars fighting alongside each other, the chances for it to become canon are extremely small, if any.

What is the Mobile Game about?

Realms Collide was developed by Tilting Point and AN Games and has been licensed by Paramount Consumer Products. It is a mobile strategy game that takes place in the world of Avatar Legends by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante Dimartino. The official synopsis of the game reads,

“A time of peace and harmony is disrupted by a dangerous cult devoted to a dark entity from the Spirit World. As the cult’s power and influence grows across the land, so too does chaos, wreaking havoc and consuming lives, leaving the ashes of formerly serene societies in its wake.

Now, you must face your destiny and embark on an epic journey to recruit powerful benders from across the land, discover heroes of legend and forge alliances with other powerful leaders to restore harmony and balance to the world!”

In the game, players will be allowed to choose one out of the four elements and nations for their character who will be the “leader.” Players will be provided with a base that they can build up from scratch. They will also get to form alliances with each other.

There is no known release date for the mobile game just yet but it received a limited test release on April 03 this year but only in select countries. The game will be available on both Android and iOS.
