The actor has worked with action legends Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham, but he only had a minor role that most fans would have forgotten. In one of the events he attended, the actor even got into a disaster after a bouncer failed to recognize him.

Glen Powell Was Kicked Out Of The Expendables 3 Party

During his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actor Glen Powell revealed he went to a party for The Expendables 3, and he was the unknown actor who got into trouble for supposedly sneaking in.

I did this movie Expendables 3 – it’s like Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Jason Statham. Somehow, I’m the ‘random’ guy that snuck in. So I’m like the only unknown person in a cast of legends.

The actor was not allowed to enter the VIP section where the movie’s stars were hanging out. He was forced to leave by a bouncer who did not recognize that he was part of the cast. Powell, unfortunately, apparently got smacked in the face.

I got kicked out of the VIP section of the Expendables 3 party. It actually got kind of physical. There was a large bouncer that was convinced that I shouldn’t be in the VIP section, so it kind of turned into a physical altercation where I got hit in the face at the Expendables 3 party.

The actor laughed while recalling the moment and joked that no one recognized him even though his photo was on the banner. “Just because you’ve got a banner doesn’t mean you’re getting in the party,” he quipped.

Thankfully, it has been sorted out, and in the future, everyone knows Powell won’t be kicked out anymore since he is quickly becoming a rising star of his own.

Glen Powell On Sylvester Stallone’s Greatest Career Advice For Him

Glen Powell took advantage of the short time he had with Sylvester Stallone while filming The Expendables 3. The actor spent three months in Bulgaria, and while on set, he made sure to ask for advice from the Rocky star. He shared via Statesman:

The coolest thing about being on set in Bulgaria for three months was picking Sly’s brain about how to last in Hollywood as long as he has. I know the chances of getting to where I already am in my career are slim, and to last longer than three years is smaller than that.

Powell considers himself lucky for being able to work with Stallone. He said that the action legend told him to “make your own franchise. You’ve got this Texas thing, cater to that, be like this Southern Texas hero.”

Surely, the young actor took that advice to heart. As he’s only starting to build his career in Hollywood, he will have all the time to explore more projects and work with other veteran actors in the future.
