On 13 July 2023, the House of Cards actor appeared in court for the trial and denied s**ual abuse allegations. Spacey had a lot to share about how his life took a turn when he got involved in this case.

Reportedly 4 men accused Kevin Spacey of s**ually assaulting them in different years. When the actor was shown the picture of one of the victims who filed the case against him he said he is unable to recognize him. When the Baby Driver actor appeared in court he broke down as he explained to the jury how this s**ual assault case affected his acting career. The actor admitted that he is a big flirt and that whatever happened between him and the complainant was in a romantic way. While narrating his side of the story, Spacey said,
“I’m a flirt, I’m a big flirt. Slowly over time the relationship became somewhat sexual but we never had s*x together because he made it clear he didn’t want to go any further, and that happens at times, and you respect how far someone wants to go or not go. It did not happen in a violent, aggressive, painful way. It was gentle and it was touching and in my mind romantic.”
One of the complainants claimed that the American Beauty actor grabbed his crotch like a cobra and passed many vile comments on him. When Spacey was asked how he felt when he found out he was accused of being a s**ual predator, the actor said he felt like he was stabbed in the back.
Kevin Spacey talked about the downfall of his acting career
The Seven actor said he was abandoned by many makers of the films and other projects after he was highlighted as the culprit. While talking about his career the actor said,
“With a few exceptions over the last five, six years, I have not been able to work. I’ve had no money coming in and I’ve had a lot of legal bills and things to fight against, and I haven’t paid it all off so I still owe money.”
Spacey stated that his world exploded after this case. The 21 actor mentioned that people from the LGBTQIA+ community were upset because he came out as gay when get got involved in the case of s**ually abusing 4 men. The 63-year-old actor was also grilled a lot on social media since he was dragged to the court for this case.
