Jennifer Garner talked about Ben Affleck’s transformation for Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice

Jennifer Garner was present behind the scenes as Ben Affleck prepared to become Batman. The 50-year-old actor was cast as the film’s second star, opposite Henry Cavill. The actor was aware that Cavill had already impressed the audience with his great body, so he had to elevate his game for the action-adventure film. During an interview, Affleck’s ex-wife talked about how the Justice League actor transformed himself. The 51-year-old actress said,

“You know, he has put on 30 pounds of muscle and he’s 8 percent body fat. He looks pretty good. It’s a little bit like, ‘Whoa, who are you?’ It feels like I’m having an affair. But I don’t mind, I’m not complaining.” 

Affleck worked hard to attain a great physique to look like Batman in the movie. Garner also discussed the Batman outfit as well and told the fans that it is an extremely cool suit.

People were waiting to see the Bounce actor in a Superhero suit since the moment he was cast as Batman in Zack Snyder’s film. Affleck was aware that he wasn’t in fantastic shape, and he worked hard to ensure that he looked good on screen. The 50-year-old actor knew his competition was Cavill and his supporters expected a good body as well. While talking about his transformation Affleck said

“I have been getting bigger. “I have been working out a lot. These are not roles that you can do and not exercise for. Audiences have now increasing expectations. Like, in the ’50s, you could just be like Burt Lancaster and tall. That was ok, but now you see guys like Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans and all these guys whose bodies are just, you think, ‘How is that even possible?’ Exercising is as much a part of the job as the rest of it.”
