As the second season of the FX original series The Bear is up to speed after its release back in June, fans have been having a thrill ride binge-watching the show for its impeccable performances.

The talented lead Jeremy Allen White has stepped up his game for a second outing, as the first season already gave us a rather heavy journey. White, Ayo Edebiri, Jon Bernthal, Moss Bachrach, and Oliver Platt poured every ounce of emotion they had in the series which earned them special nods during the 75th Emmy Awards.

The masterful story from the writer and director Christopher Storer however landed itself in the wrong category of nominations and fans are incredibly upset over this ridiculous mistake.

The first season had some of the most “gripping” scenes that the viewers must still be feeling in their bones. But after this mistake from such a reputed Award show, they have been comparing the nomination buffoonery to Matt Damon’s space film.

What Category Has The Bear Been Put Into?

Imagine a premise where Jeremy Allen White’s character Carmy Berzatto has to fill in his deceased brother Michael’s (played by Bernthal) shoes and handle the family restaurant back in Chicago.

The director has put in a lot of elements in the story that make it extremely difficult for the lead actor to navigate the situation at hand. But he has help from the sous chef Sydney (played by Edebiri) to revamp the place and almost loses his mind toward the last episode of the season.

This Matt Damon’s Space Film Suffered The Same Glitch As The Bear

The major reason people prefer the Academy Awards the most is that all of Hollywood’s finest come together and get their work appreciated in the most unbiased manner.

This can’t be said with most other Award shows as people believe that corruption runs deep among the management and they can go to unnatural lengths to get attention.

This notion is highly believable as back in 2016, Golden Globe authorities categorized Matt Damon’s 2015 film The Martian as a comedy/musical. Seriously? An astronaut left behind by his crew to fend for himself on the red planet and cultivating food in his own feces is probably not a funny premise.

Fans may have to let this one slide as a small portion of the episodes are in fact humorous apart from the bigger dramatic plot.
