When Keanu Reeve’s co-star confessed to feeling embarrassed

Diane Keaton once confessed to feeling embarrassed while kissing her much younger co-star Keanu Reeves in the film Something’s Gotta Give. However, despite attributing the awkwardness to the difference in their ages, the now 77-year-old star couldn’t help being captivated by Reeves’ undeniable beauty and described the experience as a guilty pleasure. While talking about how just like her, Reeves was reluctant to go ahead with the scene, Keaton said,

“It was pretty embarrassing, and for Keanu, too. It has to do with time of life. It’s instinctive – [while kissing him] you go, ‘Uh, probably not!’ And Keanu was going, ‘Definitely not!’ He was trying to be polite. But he’s so beautiful, it’s stupefying. It was a guilty pleasure. A very guilty pleasure.”

Well, who can blame Keaton, almost all actresses who have shared an on-screen kiss with the Constantine actor have nothing but praise for him. However, Reeves, who has often expressed admiration for his co-stars, encountered a kissing scene in his career that he didn’t find ideal.
