Jada Pinkett Smith is not just who we often know her to be – Will Smith’s wife. She has an entire journey behind her since the year 1990 when she first began her career. Will and Jada first met on the set of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and that’s how their story began. Will was in a bad marriage at that time with actor Sheree Zampino and later got divorced, which eventually paved the way for Jada to be in his life.
Jada has appeared in nearly 20-odd films, such as The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Nutty Professor, Ali, Menace 2, and Madagascar series. She has 2 children, Willow (whip my hair) and Jaden Smith (Karate Kid).

In a Mother’s Day special episode of her daughter’s talk show called – ‘Red Table Talk’ back in May 2021, which she co-hosts along with her mother, Willow paid tribute to her mother’s rock song ‘Bleed all over me.’
In the same year, in an interview in July, Willow expressed how she got to know about the ‘racism and sexism’ that her mother was subjected to during her metal band days. She even went on to say that she had received crazy amounts of ‘death threats’ from the American public.
This is what she had to say –
“My mom got so much hate, it was intense racism and sexism, just packed onto the tens. People gave her death threats and threw glass at her onstage. Some crazy stuff went down.”

Inside Will and Jada Smith’s Married Life
Over the years, the married couple has had an incredible amount of challenges in their marriage with mostly Jada Pinkett Smith’s name getting linked to other men. Back in 2011, reports came that she had been dating Marc Anthony, but later those reports were rubbished by her reps.
In 2015, reports surfaced that the couple might get separated but eventually Will took to Facebook to clarify that it wasn’t true.
During the BET Awards back in June 2017, she and singer August Alcina were rumored to be dating. In an interview 3 years later at her daughter’s ‘Red Table Talk’ show, she clarified that Will and her marriage had been “open at that time” and “she did have a relationship” with him.
She took to Instagram to talk about her upcoming book – ‘Worthy’ which sheds light on her life. She also announced recently that Red Table Talk is coming back with more episodes.
