Be it her time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or her various other pursuits, she has worked with the best that the film industry has to offer and eventually became a part of the category itself.
She has also worked with several extremely attractive co-stars. Many years ago, there were rumors floating around about her being involved with her Match Point co-star, Jonathan Rhys Myers. During an interview, she debunked these in a manner that was not flattering to her co-star.
Scarlett Johansson Debunks The Rumors
When actors are involved with each other on screen, it is quite common for spectators to think that something else is going on outside of the movie itself. Actors are coupled together, rumors float around, and all of a sudden, everyone is convinced that two people, regardless of their relationship status, are involved with each other. While sometimes the speculations are true, most of the time, they are just fictitious.
During the filming of Scarlett Johansson’s 2005 movie, Match Point, the world was convinced that the actress and her co-star, Jonathan Rhys Myers, were hooking up with each other. The pair were making headlines, and what was just good chemistry was being labeled as something more.
He’s a fantastic actor, intense, gorgeous and funny, but I can say for sure I never had a passionate encounter with him.
During the press tour of the movie, Johansson gave an interview with Today, where she addressed these rumors head-on. She started by saying that she thinks that Myers is an extremely attractive and exceptional person.
However, she clarified that they have never been anything more than co-stars.
Not Lovers But Girlfriends
After clarifying the intimate status of her relationship with Jonathan Rhys Myers, Scarlett Johansson talked about her dynamic with him and how it did not allow them to be anything more than friends. She revealed that she had more of a friendly relationship with the actor, being almost like girlfriends with each other.
He’s a really sexy, brooding guy but he’s very gossipy. He likes shoes and it was like having a girlfriend on the set.
She revealed that, even though, from the outside, Myers looks intimidating and brooding, he is a completely different person in actuality. It would seem that the Mission: Impossible actor enjoys engaging in gossip. Johansson added that he had a lot of feminine traits, which made him the perfect person to talk to on set.
