Blake Lively Tried To Sneak Inside Disneyland

During her appearance in Late Show With David Letterman, actress Blake Lively revealed she went to Disney jail and was forbidden to enter Disneyland because of a reckless act she and her brother did to gain entry.

I grew up going to Disneyland like twice a week. My mom would take me out of school and take me to Disneyland. But I was banned from Disneyland for a year because I went to Disney prison. I was really young, so I was not responsible for this. This is all my brother’s fault. You get a stamp when you leave the park. If you spray hairspray on it, you can transfer them to someone else’s hand.”

Lively said they attempted to transfer the stamp into their hands, but they were caught at the entrance. Her brother warned her about saying anything, which made her believe he was a legit outlaw.

So, in the parking lot, he went up to somebody and said, ‘Hey, can we spray hairspray on your hand and transfer it?’ Then, we go in and they say, ‘Excuse me, can you come with us?’ and I’m like 6 years old. My brother says, ‘No matter what they say, do not confess. I will not admit that we did this.’ So, he was a professional felon.”

The Green Lantern star described what she saw inside the Disney prison: people were all creepily dressed in white, and everything was miniature-sized. She also criticized the company for marketing it as a happy place for all children but punished them for trying to get in.

We go downstairs in Disneyland – it’s all-white rooms, everyone is dressed in all white, the furniture is all white, and they just interrogated us. It was really scary and traumatizing. It’s interesting, because they spend billions and billions of dollars building a wonderland for kids, and then they’re stunned and surprised that kids would want to sneak in.”

With all her fame and fortune now, there’s no doubt she can afford as many stamps as she wants, and her kids won’t even have to sneak in anymore.

Is Disney Jail Real?

Disney Jail

The Disney prison is real, though it is not a real jail but more of a detention center for people who break the rules of the park until they get reprimanded or handed to the authorities. Certain behaviors will get one locked up such as bringing drugs or weapons, sneaking in, fighting with another guest, inappropriate behavior, or underage drinking.

The place is located in the backstage area near the security office of Disney Park. When one lands inside the prison, they either get kicked out, banned for life, receive legal action, or warned for bad behavior.

Indeed, this is the last thing anyone who visits Disneyland would want to end up with, so it’s always better to follow rules and be respectful all the time.
