Ever since he was cast as the superhero Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt has not appeared in a single audition for a part. Pratt’s performance in the part helped make him a global star. It came as a shock to many when it was revealed that the actor did not audition for the role in the major franchise and was given a free pass to the lead role of the franchise. Moreover, he earned a very hefty sum and even had a $5,000,000 payday in his biggest non-Marvel movie, Jurassic World, the movie that made $1.6 billion at the global box office against a budget of $215 million.

Chris Pratt was paid heavily for his performance in the Jurassic World movies. It was reported that the actor was paid a major sum of $5 million for the first, $10 million for the second, and around $14 million for the third. It was the actor’s highest pay ever after his MCU roles which also brought him a very high pay.

Pratt was reported to be paid somewhere around forty-five to fifty million dollars for his collective performance as the lead role and for the brief appearances in the MCU movies. The actor has starred in seven of the franchise movies and according to many reports, his overall takeout was much higher after his cut from the merchandise was taken into consideration.
