However, the Reckoning actress has firmly denied such claims, stating, “No. It’s done,” according to Deadline. Although she shared that her journey with the HBO drama is concluded, The Gloaming actress has acknowledged the impact it has had on her life and career.
She shared that the series has given her opportunities to do the wonderful and amazing things she wants to do as an actress. “It changed my life very quicklym and it will never be the same again,” she said. And one such opportunity could also be playing the role of a superhero in James Gunn’s DCU.
Milly Alcock in the Running for Supergirl Role in DCU
A recent report from Deadline has named Milly Alcock, along with Emilia Jones and Meg Donnelly, as a potential candidate to play the role of Supergirl in James Gunn’s DCU. Their screen test for the lead role in the DCU film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, is expected to take place within the month.
The DC head is said to be also involved in the casting process. The report also suggests that Kara Zor-El is likely to make her DCU debut as a cameo in one of the earlier projects, potentially Superman: Legacy, under the first chapter of DC Universe, Gods & Monsters.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be an adaptation of Tom King’s graphic novel of the same name, and the search for a director for the movie is also reportedly underway. In addition to Supergirl, Alcock has also been fans’ choice to play the role of Spider-Gwen in a live-action Marvel project.
