The actress dated Hollywood stars like Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Gosling as well as simple people like motorcycle builder Jesse James. She has also been the subject of several stalking incidents. The actresses’ relationships have also been the same, but Bullock once revealed a crazy thing she had done for a man. The A-list star is known for being outspoken, and in an interview, she spilled all the beans regarding her equation with two of her A-list ex-boyfriends.
Sandra Bullock Revealed The Craziest Thing She Has Done For A Man
In a 2003 interview with Cosmopolitan, Sandra Bullock was asked what was the most fearless thing she had done to get a man’s attention. The star answered by saying that once she had purchased 5 dozen flowers just to get a guy to notice her. The actress explained:
“I once sent myself—so pathetic—five dozen roses and filled my hotel room with them, knowing that this person would be stopping by. It worked…he asked me out.”
Bullock didn’t disclose who the guy was. But the magazine pressed on and asked her what was she ideally looking for in a man. To this Bullock answered that she loves people who are confident but modest. As per the actress:
“I love people who are artistic, confident, and even cocky but with an underlying modesty that is humbling. They also have to have a wicked sense of humor, and I have to feel challenged. If somebody does not swat it right back to me, I’ll get bored.”
The actress also opened up about her relationships with Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Gosling. The Miss Congeniality star also expressed that she has a hard time being just friends with someone she has great chemistry with.
Sandra Bullock On Her Equation With Her Lovers
Sandra Bullock, in her Cosmopolitan interview, expressed that if two people are single and willing, then being just friends isn’t worth it. At least for her. She said, “I have a hard time being just friends. My feeling is, if you’re both single and you’re not hurting anyone, do it, and have a great time. But if you’re committed, walk away. You have to have a really good moral backbone.”
The interviewer then pressed her about her equation with Matthew McConaughey, who Bullock had referred to before as a friend. The outlet said that she never added the word ‘just’ to the ‘a friend’ phrase for McConaughey. The Ocean’s 8 star took this twisted question like a champ and said, “If you were to add the word just, it would probably be a bit of a lie. So I’d say were friends. [laughs].”
Apart from McConaughey, Bullock also praised Ryan Gosling and said that he had taught her to enjoy life. The Gravity actress explained, “I live my life at a manic pace, and he’s taught me to disregard all that isn’t important. He’s like a little Buddha.” But all these relationships are now in the past. The star has been dating photographer Bryan Randall since 2015 and raising her two children Louis (11) and Laila (8) with him. The actress was recently seen in Bullet Train with Brad Pitt.
