The Amazing Spider-Man 2 became a blockbuster mainly due to the performances of Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Jamie Foxx as Electro. The three celebrities also shared a pleasant off-screen camaraderie that was evident in their promotional appearances for the film. In one interactive session with a group of children, a young fan asked Garfield a question regarding the significant of the red and blue colors in the Spider-Man costume.

The Social Network star who confessed that he was unaware, decided to get creative and said that the red stood for fire and the blue for the ocean. Speaking of the bright nature of the colors that worked for the costume, Garfield went on to add that any other hue would have been inappropriate.

Jamie Foxx, who was listening in on the answer, immediately feigned shock and eyeballed Garfield which sent the audiences and their co-star Emma Stone into whoops of laughter. All in all, the whole event was conducted in good spirits with the three stars needling each other in good humor.

A few months after Jamie Foxx was hospitalized following a mystery medical condition, the Ray actor took to social media to talk about his health for the first time. Foxx, who took ill suddenly on the set of his film Back in Action, said that he and his family decided to keep information about his illness under wraps as he did not want to unnecessarily worry his fans. The Oscar winner in a video on Instagram, said,

“I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back. I went through something I thought I would never ever go through. I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie [or] television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.”
