According to an insider who confided to Life & Style, Jake Gyllenhaal’s obsession with the perfect attire is only growing as he approaches middle age. Currently forty-three years old, Gyllenhaal has always received compliments for his wide variety of outfits.
But now, it seems as if Gyllenhaal has taken his passion, infused it with super serum, and caused it to grow in size and take over his mind.
As per the insider,
On the doorstep of middle age, the funny thing you notice about Jake is how materialistic he has become about his fashion choices and options, like he’s putting way too much thought and effort into it.
And while everyone has the right to have their hobbies, the insider believes that Gyllenhaal has fallen a little too deep into it.
His favorite pastime is looking at himself in the mirror in a cutting-edge new outfit. He has the right to have a hobby but he’s gone way too deep into it!
Even though some might think that the Spider-Man: Far From Home actor dresses to impress, they couldn’t be more wrong. Gyllenhaal only dresses up for himself and not for anyone else, not even his fans or his public image.
Jake’s fashion addiction is purely for himself, not his fans, and not his public image. He gets off on wearing the coolest, newest stuff – especially if he gets it for free! It’s a little sad, but this is how Jake blows off steam these days.

This isn’t about getting his picture taken, either. He’s worn lavish outfits, especially during the pandemic, and never even got seen in them [by publications].
His fascination and fixation on clothing might seem peculiar to many but hey, as long as he is not hurting anyone, what’s the harm? Gyllenhaal can continue to dress up in the most incredible outfits and we can continue to be in awe of him. It’s a win-win situation, right?
