Zack Snyder’s latest project saw a Star Wars-esque storyline that was titled Rebel Moon. Along with the visionary director is a plethora of cast that will be featured throughout the franchise. Michiel Huisman is also set to star in the movie and is most notably known for his role as Daario Naharis in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Talking about his experience, the Game of Thrones actor described working with Zack Snyder and how he brings in a surreal experience never felt before. Stating that he is not at freedom to say much about Rebel Moon, Michiel Huisman simply stated that the movie and Zack Snyder are something extraordinary.
Michiel Huisman Talks About Working With Zack Snyder
After his breakup with DC Studios and the DCU, Zack Snyder began working on his project that had been a decade in the making. Rebel Moon is the current magnum opus and obsession of the 300 director and the fans are here for it.
Teaming up with Netflix, the entertainment giant recently released a “save-the-date” video for the year 2023. Showcasing glimpses of Snyder’s Rebel Moon, Netflix created hype among the fans for the upcoming project. Michiel Huisman, known for portraying Daario Naharis in HBO’s Game of Thrones and Steven Crain in The Haunting of Hill House is also one of the cast members of Rebel Moon.
In an interview with Screenrant, Huisman talked about the difference in the environment when he was working on Zack Snyder’s set. He also stated his love for Rebel Moon and how he cannot wait to show the world what they have to offer.
“You going from shooting a scene on a little island to stepping into the world that is Zack Snyder’s. Imagine big sets, and yes, it’s a very different working environment, but how amazing to be able to do both. No, no, no, you started talking about the movie, and I’m like, Oh, no, I have to pay attention, because they really want to keep it under wraps. So, I am 100 percent sure that we’re going to talk about it probably soon.”
Keeping his end of the promise, the Game of Thrones actor did not spill much regarding the project. Although his love and admiration for the acclaimed director are clearly evident from his statements. However, Michiel Huisman is not the only person who admires Zack Snyder.
Zack Snyder Worked Alongside Cleopatra Coleman in “The trenches” For Rebel Moon
Cleopatra Coleman, the Australian actress is also set to star in the Man of Steel director’s movie. Talking about her experience working with Zack Snyder, Coleman had nothing but admiration for the director much like Michiel Huisman.
“Zack is another director that really enjoys what he does. He comes at it with such enthusiasm, he’s camera operating, he’s in the trenches with everyone, and it’s a fantastical world that he’s created.”
The actors do not seem to share much information about the upcoming project in their interviews. Keeping it all under wraps, the fans hope for Zack Snyder’s magnum opus to break numerous records and make the world mourn the loss of Snyder’s unfinished Justice League trilogy.
Rebel Moon is set for a streaming release date of 22nd December 2023 and will be available to stream on Netflix.
