Kristen Stewart had a hard time filming intimate sequences with Ryan Reynolds

Despite having a wonderful time sharing the screen with Ryan Reynolds, crafting the intimate sequences with him for the movie was the hardest part of the job for Kristen Stewart. While reflecting on the situation, the actress explained that her character’s mental health wasn’t the healthiest at the time, which made the intimate sequence with Reynold’s character harder to do. She further explained the situation by stating,

“The way the relationships are in the movie, [it was harder] to be with Ryan. I mean, not Ryan, but it was harder to do those scenes. I mean, she’s like, literally blind to anything going on. It’s literally just like self-mutilation. It’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, come on. Okay, let’s f*** me up a little bit more.’”

The other reason that hardened the situation for Stewart was the fact that she knew girls like her Adventureland character, as it didn’t help in easing down the process. But apart from facing some difficulties during the filming of those sequences, Stewart had nothing but nice to say about the Deadpool 3 star and Reynolds had something similar to say about the actress.

Ryan Reynold claimed that Kristen Stewart was pretty wise despite being 18 at the time

After singing praises for Robert Pattinson for Twilight, Ryan Reynolds didn’t back away while commending her Adventureland costar at the time of the movie’s release. In his own typical fashion, the Deadpool star commended the actress, as Reynolds explained that Kristen Stewart was pretty wise during their time in the film, despite being so young at the time. He said,

“She’s an old, old soul. Sometimes I wonder if she’s one of the Golden Girls with a great facelift. I can’t believe how wise she is. I feel pretty strongly that she’s going to fix our contracting economy.”

Even though their movie garnered pretty rave reviews from critics upon its release, unlike Stewart’s Twilight, Adventureland wasn’t the biggest hit, which might be a result of being released in a busy summer.
