What was to have been family bonding time to start the New Year turned out to be a horrific memory for Hollywood star Jeremy Renner. The actor almost lost his life while trying to save his young nephew from danger on the ski slope. However, the plow began to slide on the ice causing Renner to fall out of the cab. Even as he was dangling from the Sno Cat, the star’s instinct was to make sure that his young nephew Auggie was not in the line of danger while also making sure his older nephew Alex wasn’t sandwiched between the cab. Speaking of the incident, Renner said,

“I just happened to be the dummy standing on the dang track a little bit, seeing if my nephew was there. That’s when I screamed, by the way, when I went under the thing, Not today, motherf*ker!’ is what I screamed. Sorry for the language.”

Renner added that while his error of dangling out of the car caused the accident, it ensured that his nephews were safe. The Hurt Locker actor said that despite the horrifying aftermath and the emotional trauma of the accident, he would do it again if it meant saving his family.
