On one side, her conspicuous absence following surgery was being discussed in detail with extreme speculations of her being in a coma. On the other side, her admission of the doctored picture gave viewers fresh fodder to make judgments about her. This included celebrities like the hosts of The View- Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Following the picture revelation, the anchors went on to analyze Middleton’s actions in great detail and were also critical about her decisions to edit the photo as well as admitting to doing it. But one veteran host Whoopi Goldberg wanted no part of this.

Goldberg’s words ultimately came back to bite the other hosts following Middleton’s admission of cancer in a heartfelt video. The women then went on to admit that the Ghost actor was right all along, and confessed that their hasty opinions about the Princess of Wales was unwarranted.
