Johnny Depp snubbed a late-night party at the Cannes Film Festival to prioritize his health. The 59-year-old actor, who has been the heart and soul of the wildest parties, decided to take it easy and choose a quiet night over the after-party following the premiere of his movie, Jeanne du Barry. The French historical drama film is the first one since his glorious victory in the defamation case against Amber Heard.

Johnny Depp is known for attending every after-party at Cannes but this time, the actor decided to give priority to himself over a night’s fun. The Pirates of the Caribbean star wasn’t present at the Cannes Film Festival after-party following the premiere of his new movie, Jeanne du Barry.

A source revealed that Johnny Depp “decided to head back to his room early to make sure he got enough rest and to prepare for another day of media interviews.” The source further mentioned:

“Depp has made an evolution in terms of prioritizing his health and rest while he made his comeback.”

Depp, being the star of every after-night party, was missed by other celebrities present as told by a tipster, who further  “Everyone was expecting Johnny at the dinner. He added, “It’s very rare for the star of the film to not show, but he decided to lay low.” The actor, on the other hand, has shifted his focus to his upcoming projects.
