Tom Cruise has been leading action flicks for years starting from 1986’s Top Gun to the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Given that his acting tenure is filled with several hits, it has attracted global attention. Not to forget, his formidable charisma can make anyone long for him.

The 60-year-old actor, Tom Cruise in an old interview with Interview Magazine opened up about being the man of many people’s fantasies. For the unversed, he kicked off his acting career as an s*x symbol in the industry when he made movies like Risky Business, The Firm, and Jerry Maguire.
Back in a 1986 interview, he was confronted on being the man associated with “a lot of people’s adolescent thoughts and fantasies.” To which, he responded,
“Yep. I’ve been laid just about everywhere. On the train, in the bedroom, on the stairs… [laughs]”
While he charmed the ladies with his romantic lead characters, he sweep it away when Mission: Impossible 2 got released. It established him as an action star who was dedicated to giving his fans an adrenaline rush with his stunt sequences.
However, his charm has only been enhanced with his action flicks which rarely get seen making out on-screen than doing some insane actions that would blow one’s mind. While fans rarely saw him doing his own steamy scenes in the film, he once addressed the same.

In an old interview, the Top Gun: Maverick star confessed to doing his s*x sequences in Eyes Wide Shut.
He told the reporters,
“That f–king? That s–king? It was all CRUISE, baby!”
While the director, Stanley Kubrick gave him the option to leave the steamy scene in the hands of his stunt double but he insisted on doing his scene on his own.
“Even the scenes where I’m just walking around in the o-gy,” Cruise added, “that sh-t’s ALL ME. It took all my acting training in the WORLD to not pop a boner. But that’s why I’m the best!”
While his keen on doing his part, his co-star and then-wife, Nicole Kidman didn’t work with him in that sequence.
“I wasn’t even there. Kubrick pulled me aside and told me Tom was insisting to film the s*x scene for real, so I went home for the day and they modeled a fake me for him to go to town on.”
She further added that she admired Cruise for doing his own stunts however she left it up to the professionals. The film was Kubrick’s last project which got enlisted among the greatest films of the 1990s.
