Season 4 of the Amazon Prime show has been in development since last year. The streaming giants renewed the show for a fourth season after recording a 17% increase in viewership from its Season 2 premiere. The cast and the creators of the Amazon series have been sharing updates regarding The Boys season 4. And they once again hyped the anticipation for the next season by sharing a sneak peek at what the next season may have in store.

Jack Quaid, who portrays Hughie Campbell in the popular series, shared that The Boys Season 4 has officially wrapped with an image of him fully covered in blood. He announced the wrap by thanking his co-stars and crew, and said that season 4 is “our best yet.”

Apart from Quiad, the series creator Eric Kripke also shared the news on Twitter by sharing some behind-the-scenes snippets with Jack Quaid and Karen Fukuhara, again covered in blood. Kripke also thanked everyone associated with the project while sharing that they wrapped up filming at 2 in the morning and called the next season “Bloody. But Triumphant.”

Although not much is revealed about the plot of the series, the behind-the-scenes images have given fans a slight hint at what to expect from season 4, especially from the season finale. Season 3 ended with Billy facing the adverse effects of Temp-V, which doesn’t seem a good sign for The Boys either.

The Boys Season 4 Might Get More Gory

The anticipation for The Boys season 4 has been high since Amazon announced the upcoming season. And the marketing team knows exactly how to keep the fans hooked on the series. Other than Kripke and Quaid, Karl Urban also shared the news of the season wrap on his Instagram.

He shared an image with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who will also appear in the show, but his role has not been confirmed yet. Unlike Jack Quaid and Eric Kripke, Urban’s image is pretty decent as he poses with The Walking Dead star.

The official Twitter account of the show, The Boys, also shared some behind-the-scenes shots of Homelander and A-Train, also covered in blood. The images signify that The Boys season 4 will be much darker and gory with new supes and possibly a new mate for Billy Butcher.
