With numerous changes and several recasts and removals, James Gunn established the DCU. Ezra Miller, the infamous actor known for wreaking havoc through small disruptions in public remained as the Flash in the newly made DCU. Calling James Gunn on his hypocrisy, fans took to Twitter and asked the question to the co-head of DC about other actors.
James Gunn Will Not Remove Ezra Miller From His DCU
Before the official lineup for the DCU was revealed, the talk of a reboot of the universe was rumored to happen. James Gunn did remove any speck of the Snyderverse by removing Henry Cavill from the DCU. In the process, Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck also allegedly left the franchise or were rumored to be recast for further DCU projects.

Momoa, known for being a gentleman to everyone got praise and love from the people when Aquaman 3 was recently announced. Ezra Miller, on the other hand, did not get the same reception.

I’m sorry but James Gunn going to bat for the Flash movie and the heads reiterating their support for Ezra Miller AND continuing to kick Batgirl while it’s down puts a stake through the heart of me investing in any DC movies going forward. The core is rancid.

“Ezra is completely committed to their recovery. And we are fully supportive of that journey that they’re on right now. When the time is right, when they feel like they’re ready to have the discussion, we’ll all figure out what the best path forward is. But right now, they are completely focused on their recovery. And in our conversations with them over the last couple of months, it feels like they’re making enormous progress.”
