The decline in popularity ratings had a detrimental impact on Miller’s career prospects. New projects would maintain a healthy distance from them. Twitterati had begun campaigns for removing them from the projects they were a part of.

In this dark time, The Flash held a lot of importance for them. Ezra Miller doesn’t have many roles in the bag that they can boast about. The Flash is one of the few roles that they have to rely upon for turning over this dark chapter in their life. But the latest entrant in the DC Extended Universe’s Box Office debacle leaves a big question mark on his future.
A change of guard might be on the cards though. The rumor mill is running amok with reports that we’ve seen the last of Ezra Miller as The Flash. It doesn’t seem farfetched to believe the same. And one fan seems to have found some conclusive evidence to back his claim.
How James Gunn has reportedly confirmed Ezra Miller’s DCEU future
One Twitter user while scrolling through James Gunn’s Twitter account came across a startling fact. The Suicide Squad 2 director has apparently liked this tweet.
The ending contradicts the fact that The Brave and the Bold will have a NEW actor playing Batman, so is it safe to say that the Flash did not end in the new DCU proper, but a different timeline altogether?

Ezra plays the flash in different timelines though as shown in the movie itself. It doesn’t mean Ezra is done. If he is, so be it, but @JamesGunn liking of that tweet doesn’t justify your conclusion
