James Gunn Supporters Had Enough of All the Bullsh*t

For the past four or five years, DC has been in a slump with the sudden exit of Zack Snyder from the franchise, with no one to properly lead the franchise, it was complete mayhem. The movies that were made, scripted, and directed in his absence were disastrous, as they were complete box-office failures topped with extremely poor ratings. Some of them could not even break even as fans colored their official social media pages with hate texts and discouraged many to drop the movies. Basically, the franchise has been in a dump and James Gunn was brought in to save the franchise from dying.

According to Gunn, the current theme of DC has dried off too much and was beyond saving, hence the complete reboot, and introduction of the new chapter, Gods and Monsters. Even though initially, Gunn received a huge backlash from the fans for changing the core, nowadays many have come to support him after going through his plans for the franchise.

Superman Legacy could gross a billion dollars and win 7 Oscars and the Snyder cult would still spin it as a failure. Stop trying to convince these ppl that this film is in good hands. It’s not being directed by Snyder. He’s all they care about.

Many have even gone as far as dissing his haters claiming nothing will be good for them, drafting them as pure haters. Most of them still want Snyder to be brought back and many would like James Gunn to work his magic the way he did with the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

DCU’s Chapter 1 will have many movies and TV shows, which upon release will most likely put up a contest to MCU’s reign for the past decade. Gods and Monsters will have movies like Superman: Legacy, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, The Brave and the Bold, Swamp Thing, and The Authority. TV shows and series will also not fall back with releases like the Creature Commandos, Waller, Booster Gold, Paradise Lost, and Lanterns will most probably shake up the industry for good. James Gunn has also dropped a nuke with the sudden news of David Corenswet as the new Superman actor.
