There are some actors who just end up bringing such a vibrance and atmosphere to movies that just make you want to watch those movies over and over again, a good example being Zoe Saldana. This is a good phenomenon for everyone involved in making the movie as its theatrical release would get a major audience boost- producers get the money, and the actors get a reputed name.

Coming back to Zoe Saldana, it’s no doubt that she can be included in this list of actors whose presence can simply end up boosting ticket sales of the movie. And with her most recent achievement in that regard, she might just end up joining a very popular media franchise.

Zoe Saldana’s Makes A Stunning Billion-Dollar Record

Becoming a bankable actor in Hollywood is no joke. There’s a lot of competition in the movie industry and coming out on top from a list of actors that includes stars like Anya Taylor Joy or Sebastian Stan is a monumental task.

Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana is one such actor that has ended up making that mark in Hollywood. After having starred in the first Avatar movie, she reprised her role as Neytiri in the sequel Avatar: The Way of Water – both have crossed the billion-dollar mark in earnings.

In fact, The Way of Water ended up crossing the $2 billion mark (worldwide), and so have the three other movies that Saldana has starred in – Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, and of course, Avatar.

This officially makes her the first actor to have four movies cross the $2 billion box office mark, and fans couldn’t be happier for the actor who nailed the role of Gamora in the MCU!

James Gunn Might Just Hire Zoe Saldana For The DCU

Everyone is waiting for the highly anticipated third installment in the Guardians of the Galaxy series. But while that hype is still fresh, fans will have even more of a reason to be happier as the director is looking to recruit one of its cast members (or more!) into a different universe.

Well, we were referring to DCU fans, not MCU fans. Just earlier this month, James Gunn teased fans by saying that it’s entirely possible for him to work with the main cast of the GotG series in the future.

Speaking to Empire, the 56-year-old director said-

“This cast are like my family. I cannot tell you how close I am to Chris Pratt and Pom [Klementieff] and Dave [Bautista] and Zoe [Saldaña] and Karen [Gillan]. But I also know I will work again with all those people individually again. Probably at my other job.”

It’s important to note that these are all high-profile actors already at this point. But Zoe Saldana proves to have an advantage if Gunn is to ever select them to work with him for the DCU since she’s got the $2 billion charm going for her.

Having now become the co-head of the DCU along with Peter Safran, it won’t be long before we see Saldana in the DCU. Possibly as Big Barda? Or Hawkgirl!
