DC Universe has not fared well under James Gunn’s leadership thus far, although his vision for the franchise has not yet started, the franchise is failing. After a protracted wait, The Flash movie finally arrived in theatres earlier this month, but it was a tremendous letdown. It wasn’t the only one that failed at the theatres but Gunn aims to redeem all the losses with his Gods and Monsters.

James Gunn has been on a roll introducing new characters to the franchise and making projects such as movies and TV shows of those. Currently, it is rumored that DCU co-CEO is looking for a Korean actress to play the character Huntress for her solo movie. Many are excited about this rumor but Gunn has yet to acknowledge this news.

James Gunn is Rumored to be Looking for a Korean Actress

Ever since James Gunn and Peter Safran have taken control over the entire DC Universe, their vision for the franchise has shown great promise as they recently introduced the upcoming projects. The franchise under them will start with Chapter 1, Gods and Monsters, DC fans have kept their hopes high even though the recent releases have had devastating results. Gunn not only started to introduce new actors and actresses for the characters, he even started bringing comic characters to the big screen, potentially making them into fan favorites. Recently, a rumor has surfaced saying that he is searching for a Korean actress for another character, Huntress.

Huntress is a very famous character in DC Comics who has a huge fan base, moreover, her part in Birds of Prey did not satisfy her fans as they demanded more of her. Many inside scoops and news have come to the surface regarding the Studio developing a live-action Huntress project some years ago, but no official confirmation or news has come forth since. DCU’s upcoming projects are no less interesting as Gunn has a massive plan for the franchise to rise to its deserved fame and glory, starting with the most fan-favorite superhero, Superman.
