Well, since the entry of the new members of DCEU, the shocking announcement of Henry Cavill’s exit has already disappointed fans. Also, the return of a Black Adam sequel remains uncertain. So what have the Co-Ceos thought about DC’s future? A rumor is already making rounds on the Internet about James Gunn’s next big project.

Even though in January, the Brightburn director announced Chapter 1: God and Monsters at a DC special presentation, fans were still hoping for another Justice League film which was not announced by Gunn. So will the movie happen in this slate or fans have to wait a little longer? Well, a rumor has already made its way to the internet, which suggests that a Justice League project might be in the making.

Twitter user KC Walsh shared a screenshot of a rumor sent by a verified account named BSL. The rumor suggests that according to multiple sources, a few unannounced projects are also on DC’s plate, which includes Justice League: New Frontier. Apart from this, the other projects mentioned were Animal Man, Lobo, Superman Vs The Authority, Peacemaker Season 2, and Mr. Terrific.

James Gunn has already given his take on the already-announced projects and unveiled the overall plan.

“We sat down in a room for a few days and we started to bash out what the basic overall plan could be. Not so much that it ties your wrists, but enough that we know what the basic story is, where we’re going. And it’s something that we’ll continue to do.”

Well, the studios have already axed down Henry Cavill’s Superman and Black Adam’s return for another sequel. Dwayne Johnson opened up by saying that his character won’t be in the first chapter of DC’s storytelling. But in the future, they will “continue exploring the most valuable ways Black Adam can be utilized in future DC multiverse chapters.”

James Gunn has already revealed a new DCU slate during a special presentation. He revealed that the studio’s focus will be on the gem characters like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. They will use these characters as a base to introduce other new characters. As of now, 11 projects have already been announced. The new DC projects are as follows :

Superman: Legacy (Movie), Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (Movie), The Brave and the Bold (Batman and Damian Wayne Movie), Paradise Lost (Wonder Woman HBO max series), Booster Gold (HBO max series), Creature Commandos (Animated Series), Waller (Amanda Waller series), Lanterns (Green Lantern series), Swamp Thing (Movie), The Authority (Movie) and Elseworlds: The Batman – Part II (Movie).

It would be great to see whether or not this rumor of another Justice League movie turns into reality.
