Following Foxx’s on-set meltdown, several reports have surfaced, yet the cause of his health issue was kept a secret. Recently, with a shocking update, A.J. Benza revealed that the Django Unchained star, in fact, had a blood clot in his brain, claiming he was “partially paralyzed and blind.”

“The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralyzed and blind,” Benza said appearing on Dr. Drew Pinsky’s online show “Ask Dr. Drew.” Further, the journalist insisted that his source had first-hand information about the actor’s hospitalization, as he claimed that the source was “someone inside the room.”

“I am thinking, ‘Is that why he blew up on the set a week before this medical emergency happened?'” he asked the host. “Is that why he fired three or four people because he had had it with these mandates?”

As per reports, Foxx had fired four people from production after his meltdown. “He demanded the problems be sorted immediately and sacked four of the production staff — as if that would magically improve the situation,” an insider from the set said.

Benza also said that he is doubtful about the social media updates from his family about Foxx’s condition.

“If you read into what they were saying early on, ‘He is communicating with us.’ That doesn’t mean talking. That could be anything. Writing. Sign language. I know those little code words.”

Benza’s claim quickly spread like wildfire on social media and news outlets as fans wait for a promising update on the mysterious condition of the actor.
